Description
TK SLC® is the selective medium for isolation of Mycobacterium tuberculosis and other mycobacteria. It is ready to use; it does not require addition of nutrient supplement (OADC) or selective antimicrobials, which are already in the media.
The red color of TK SLC® medium turns to yellow by mycobacterial growth and to green by growth of other organisms. Thus the medium can differentiate mycobacterial growth from contamination.
