Description
Clinical samples like sputum contain many rapidly growing microorganisms other than mycobacteria which need to be selectively killed, before inoculating the samples, for mycobacterial culture. Mycoprosafe is a kit that contains all the materials needed to safely perform the “sodium hydroxide – N-acetyl-L-cysteine (NALC) (Kubica) decontamination and concentration method. It provides, in individual sets, all the materials needed for processing each sample. It eliminates the problem of cross-contamination while saving time and effort.
